We are delighted to share the news that our new Champagne producer – Champagne Castelnau has just been awarded a gold medal from the 2020 Sommelier Wine Awards.

The Sommelier Wine Awards is the UK’s only on-trade only competition which focuses solely on wines aimed at the on-trade. This prestigious competition was was launched in 2007 has grown to be the first point of reference to UK on-trade buyers. The judges are carefully selected and include Master Sommeliers and Masters of Wine who all serve or buy wine for their venues in the on-trade, or are leading consultants developing wine lists.

James Suckling has just released his scores for Argentina 2020 and he has called this year “the best ever for wines from Argentina”.
James Suckling visited Argentina back in February to conduct his annual tasting report and the results were published April 2, 2020 after he and his team tasted through more than 1,500 wines.
